Natural Factors Zymactive Double Strength - A systemic enzyme formula with effective digestive and anti-inflammatory properties. This digestive aid can be used for a wide variety of ailments including arthritis, digestive issues, sports injuries, and immune support. This unique combination of proteolytic enzymes helps break down proteins. These enzymes, including pancreatic enzymes amylase, protease, and lipase, papain from papaya fruit, bromelain from pineapple, and serrapeptase originally isolated from the silkworm, work collectively to offer a broad range of health-promoting benefits. When taken with meals, it helps decrease bloating after high-caloric or high-fat meals. When taken on an empty stomach, it supports anti-inflammation and pain relief. Amylase activity 40,000 USP units  
Protease activity 40,000 USP units  
Lipase activity 3,200 USP units
Papain (Carica papaya)(fruit) 3,600,000 FCC PU (85.70 mg)
Serrapeptase (Serratiopeptidase,Serratia marcescens[E-15] [whole cell]) 10,400 SU (4.70 mg)
Bromelain (Ananas comosus)(pineapple stem) 640,000 FCC PU (19.38 mg)
USP: United States Pharmacopoeia; FCC: Food Chemical Codex; PU: Papain Unit; SU: Serratiopeptidase Unit.
*10 times more concentrated than USP standard.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Microcrystalline cellulose, enteric coating (purified water, ethylcellulose, medium chain triglycerides, oleic acid, carbohydrate gum [cellulose], glycerin, sodium alginate, stearic acid), croscarmellose sodium, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Dosage:
1 tablet daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. Swallow whole, do not chew or crush.
For anti-inflammatory and immune function:
1 tablet 3–5 times daily on an empty stomach with water or juice, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Caution:
Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have diabetes, pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency or cystic fibrosis, gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, are taking an anticoagulant/blood thinner, an anti-inflammatory, antibiotics, are having surgery, or if you have an allergy to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato). Do not use if you are sensitive to pork proteins or pancreatic enzymes. Hypersensitivity/allergy, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastric pain and/or heartburn and diarrhea have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Keep out of the reach of children.
