Natural Factors Senior's Multi Probiotic - Provides 8 probiotic strains that support digestive health and combat age-related reductions in immune system function. Each strain has been carefully selected for its natural resistance to gastric acid, allowing the probiotics to reach the intestines at full potency. This formula not only offers Lactobacilli to support small intestine health, but also Bifidobacteria, the most prevalent friendly bacteria in the large intestine. This senior-specific formula helps replenish these bacteria species, which decline with age. Probiotics help relieve constipation, gas, and bloating, and combat age-related decline in immune system function. Enteric coating is not required for all probiotic strains. With regards to stomach acid resistance, not all strains are created equal. Non-medicinal ingredients:

Potato starch, fructooligosac-charides (FOS), vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water), vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), silica, ascorbic acid.

Recommended adult dose: 

1–2 capsules daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Take at least 2–3 hours before or after antibiotics.

Cautions:

May contain traces of milk and/or soy . Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Keep out of the reach of children.
