Natural Factors LG Cleanse Formula - An important herbal formulation that supports the liver and gallbladder, containing standardized extracts of the primary herbs, milk thistle and turmeric. A primary function of the liver is detoxification, the liver neutralizes harmful poisons into harmless substances. As our prime defense against toxins, a fully functioning liver is essential. Milk thistle extract counteracts the effects of pollutants and has liver-protective effects. Silymarin, the active substance in milk thistle, is a powerful antioxidant, protecting the liver from damage due to toxins and can actually regenerate liver tissue. The results of numerous studies suggest that silymarin has considerable therapeutic potential, protecting intact liver cells or cells not yet irreversibly damaged, by acting on the cell membranes to prevent the entry of toxic substances.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains:
Dandelion extract (Taraxacum officinale) (root) 25 mg
Turmeric extract (Curcuma longa) (rhizome) (standardized to 10% curcuminoids) 50 mg
Milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum) (seed) (standardized to 60% silymarin) 100 mg
Artichoke powder (Cynara scolymus) (leaf) 100 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Directions:
Take 2 capsules 2-3 times daily preferably with meals or as directed by a health care practitioner. Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects.

Cautions:
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disease, gallstones, bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers, excess stomach acid or if you are pregnant or taking anti-platelet medication or blood thinners. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Discontinue use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
