Natural Factors Big Friends Chewable Iron - 10 mg - Contains SunActive iron, a well-researched and highly bioavailable source of ferric pyrophosphate iron. It is made using micronization technology that dramatically improves iron absorption into the body and is gentle on the gastrointestinal system so it does not upset sensitive stomachs. This formula is suitable for children ages three years and older and provides 10 mg of elemental iron per day. The chewable sour-peach-flavoured tablets taste delicious and help keep children and adolescents excited about taking a daily iron supplement. 

Ingredients

Each chewable tablet contains:
SunActive® iron (ferric pyrophosphate) 10 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Xylitol, microcrystalline cellulose, citric acid, natural flavours, stearic acid, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Dosage (children and adolescents 3 to 18 years old):
Chew 1 tablet daily with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Cautions:
Keep out of the reach of children. There is enough iron in this package to seriously harm a child. Stop use if hyper- sensitivity occurs.

Contains no artificial colours, preservatives, or sweeteners; no dairy, sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, corn, egg, fish, shellfish, animal products, salt, tree nuts, or GMOs. Suitable for vegetarians/vegans.
